Coates villagers celebrated HRH Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday in style with a street party on Sunday 12 June. And what a turnout! – dozens of villagers from pre-teen to 90 year olds.

There was a bring and share lunch, dressing up, music, bake-a-cake competition, bouncy games and cream teas.

                   

Even a rainstorm in the evening didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of a BBQ and fantastic entertainment from Plucking Different.
